Description: The solid mahogany soundboard and back of the D10 gives this 2-1/2 octave dulcimer a richer, fuller sound. Characteristic of all solid-wood instruments, the tone of the D10 continues to develop in clarity and depth the more it is played. The same compact size as the Apprentice and Prelude, this is the model for those who wish to invest in the beauty and lasting value of solid wood. The D10 offers the same note range as the Prelude with one octave or more in up to five major keys (F,C,G,D,A) as well as the relative minor keys and modes.
West Coast Harps package price includes a luxury C10 soft-shell fitted case, one set of hard-wood one-sided hammers, a T-handle tuning wrench & an owner's guidebook. All Dusty Strings hammers are well-designed and balanced for ease and comfort of playing.
