stave-back harp designed for the discerning, cost-conscious
harp enthusiast who requires a reliable, extremely
portable instrument with a rich, satisfying sound.
Using the same innovative design and construction
techniques (patent pending) as our popular Ravenna
34, the Ravenna 26 offers three and a half octaves
of distinctive Dusty Strings sound at a very attractive
price. It has a warm sound with a bright,
clear treble, even string tension for precision while
playing, and high-quality materials and refined craftsmanship
for lasting value.
The Ravenna 26 invites you to thoroughly enjoy exploring
a three and a half octave range, esthetically pleasing
harp that is also an ideal "prairie harp".
The construction is both rugged and durable with the
harp being very practical for low humidity environments
such as the Canadian prairie winter or in homes heated
with wood burning stoves. The innovative design allows
for any damaged portion of the harp to be easily and
inexpensively replaced by a local instrument maker
or handy person without returning the harp to the Dusty
Strings.
